Send a Cow Uganda has received support to its programme from agencies like Heifer Netherlands worth €190,000, Oxfam Novib €750,000, Self Help Africa €155,000, SNV 40,000 pounds, Seeds for Development 12,500 pounds, Maitri Trust 100,000 pounds, Western Union Foundation US$30,000, EU US$121,000, British High Commission in Uganda US$19,000, DANIDA US$32,000 among others to improve livelihoods of people in Eastern Northern and Central regions of Uganda.
The support goes towards the acquisition of exotic heifers and goats, oxen and ox-ploughs, improved seeds and training on sustainable organic agriculture, social development and livestock management.
